Terms

Reading these pages doesn't create an account or an obligation. Submitting the waitlist form is what these terms govern.

What this site is

The public PokeDrop site is a small set of marketing pages describing a desktop application that is still in active development. The site itself does not sell anything, take orders, hold accounts, or accept payments. The only interactive surface is the waitlist signup form on the home page.

Independent project

PokeDrop is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, TPCi, or any retailer mentioned on this site. Product names, retailer names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what the desktop application watches for the customer.

Waitlist signup

By submitting the waitlist form you are asking us to email you about PokeDrop's closed beta and public launch — nothing else. We expect at most two emails: one when the closed beta opens, one at public launch. You can remove yourself at any time via the unsubscribe link in either email; no login is required.

  • Submit your own email address only. One email per person is the spirit of the form.
  • Do not use the form for bulk, automated, or repeated submissions of any kind. Per-IP rate limiting is enforced.
  • We do not guarantee that joining the waitlist secures access to the closed beta or any specific product. The waitlist is a notification channel, not a reservation.
  • See the Privacy page for what we store, why, and how long.

Acceptable use of this site

  • Read the marketing pages, share the links, send people here.
  • Do not attempt to break the site, probe for vulnerabilities, or send automated traffic at a volume that would degrade the site for other readers.
  • Do not copy the content of this site and republish it under another brand. Linking to it is fine.

No warranty on the site

The information on this site is provided as-is, without any warranty of any kind. PokeDrop may change descriptions, pricing intent, retailer coverage, or product direction at any time without notice while the project is in development. Nothing on this site is a purchase guarantee or an availability promise.

When this page will expand

These terms will expand into a full Terms of Service when downloads and the paid desktop app open up. At that point the document will describe what the desktop app does on the customer's machine, what the customer is responsible for at the retailers they shop with, and how disputes and refunds are handled. Until then there is no account, no download, and no purchase surface to govern beyond the waitlist signup described above.
